Alex Baranowski is a composer, arranger and sound designer based in Central London. A 2005 graduate of Paul McCartney’s LIPA, he recently worked with electro duo Underworld for Danny Boyle’s Frankenstein at the Royal National Theatre staring Benedict Cumberbatch and Johnny Lee Miller.
A regular contributor to the National, he was also composer for Hamlet directed by NT artistic director Nicholas Hytner and Earthquakes in London directed by Rupert Goold. Both Hamlet and Frankenstein were broadcast live to cinemas globally as part of NT Live.
Other projects have included productions at the RSC, Royal Court, Donmar, Sheffield Crucible and Theatre Royal Bath.
Alex’s work in television and film has included five television commercials forBlue Dragon, Made in England for Channel 4 and feature films NFA andTreQuarti.
He is based from his own studio in London.
